Ethereum produces a block about every twelve seconds, so a deposit is usually on its way within a minute. Casinos wait for a number of confirmations before they credit it, which still keeps most ETH deposits under a few minutes.
The bigger risk is the network. ETH and ERC-20 tokens also live on layer-2 networks such as Arbitrum, Optimism and Base, and on other chains that use the same address format. Your address looks identical on all of them. If you send ETH on Arbitrum to a casino that only watches Ethereum mainnet, the funds will not appear. Always pick the exact network the cashier names.
Every Ethereum transaction pays gas. The fee depends on how busy the network is, not on how much you send, so a small deposit can cost a large share of its value on a busy day. Sending at quieter times, usually weekends and late night in the US, keeps costs down.
Withdrawals cost gas too. Some casinos absorb it, many charge a fixed ETH fee. If you play with small amounts, compare that fee with the withdrawal fee for a cheaper coin before you choose ETH.
Stablecoins such as USDT and USDC, and many other tokens, run as ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum. You need a little ETH in your wallet to pay the gas for sending them. Casinos that accept ETH often accept USDC or USDT on Ethereum as well, but they list each token separately. Sending a token the casino does not support usually means a long support ticket at best.
Some exchanges block or flag transfers to gambling sites, and a few send withdrawals from smart contracts that casinos do not detect. A self-custody wallet such as MetaMask, Rabby or a hardware wallet avoids both problems.
Never send funds straight from a staking or lending contract: send them to your own wallet first, then to the casino.
Every casino below accepts ETH. Until our own ETH test withdrawals are logged, the order follows our overall score. After that it follows measured payout time, then the ETH withdrawal fee, then the minimum deposit. Our score puts the most weight on fair odds and rakeback, which matter more over time than a one-off gas fee.
Check the network name in the cashier, then check it again in your wallet. Make sure the wallet holds enough ETH for gas on top of the amount you send. Send a small test amount the first time you use a new casino or a new wallet, and only send the rest once it shows up. Keep the transaction hash until the deposit is credited; support will ask for it if anything goes wrong.
If a deposit does not appear after the casino's stated number of confirmations, look the hash up on a block explorer such as Etherscan. If it shows as confirmed on the right network, contact support with the hash. If it went to the wrong network, say so straight away: some casinos can recover such deposits manually, but there is no guarantee.
Exactly the one the casino cashier names, usually Ethereum mainnet. Same-looking addresses on other networks are a common cause of lost deposits.
Many charge a fixed fee or pass on gas. Check the cashier before withdrawing small amounts.
Only where the cashier lists USDC (ERC-20) as a separate option.
